Suzanne loves both the vast Texas Hill Country subjects as well as still life and the figure. She has attended workshops with Elizabeth Locke, Frances Macaulay, Peggi Kroll-Roberts, Ann Templeton, Ron Rencher, LaNell Arndt, Gay Faulkenberry, Leslie Rich. She is affiliated with the Oil Painters of America, the Brenham Fine Arts League, and the Society of Outdoor Painters. The sheer love of painting motivates and compels her.
